For a straight installation, we pull the old door and track, check the opening for square, and set new jambs only if the existing framing needs it - most newer construction in this area doesn't. We hang the new panels, set spring tension to match the door weight, and mount the opener, then run it through a full cycle test under load before we call it done.
One honest limit: if the opening itself is out of square or the header is sagging, that's a carpentry fix we'll flag rather than paper over with shims and hope. We'd rather tell you the frame needs attention first than hang a door that binds in six months.
